Below are links to some of the most requested family history computer games and activities by the youth at the Granite FamilySearch Center.

  • All About Me – Find out what was happening in the year you were born or any year you choose. Search any year since 1900. (FamilySearch Discovery)
  • Ancestor Challenge – Look at pictures and decide how well you know your ancestors (FamilySearch Discovery)
  • Ancestor Games(BYU Family History Technology Lab)
    • Ancestor Coloring – Choose a picture to turn into a coloring page.
    • Crossword – Use the clues to fill in all the words and complete the crossword. Can be printed or completed online.
    • Matching game – Click on a card to reveal the person on the other side. Click on a second card to try to match the first. Up to 4 players at a time.
    • Word Scramble – Unscramble each word as fast as possible.
    • Word Search – Highlight words by clicking the first and last letters of each word. Can be printed or completed online.
  • Compare-a-Face – See which ancestors you look like (FamilySearch Discovery)
  • Geneopardy – Similar to Jeopardy only the answers are your family ancestors. If you think you know your family tree, try out this fun game and prove your knowledge with your friends and family. (BYU Family History Technology Lab)
  • Picture My Heritage – See how you look in your ancestor’s clothing. Choose a historical photo and change the face to your face. (FamilySearch Discovery)
  • Wheel of Family Fortune – It pays to know your family history. Guess letters to find the names of your family ancestors. Play alone or add other players for a fun game for the whole family. (BYU Family History Technology Lab)
