Tips for Adding a Genealogy Display to Your Family Reunion

This is what a family reunion is all about, isn’t it? Sharing family memories. You’ll want to share your family history research and use the gathering as an opportunity to collect more details, stories, records and
photos.

Family Tree Chart – Print a long family tree chart, display old pictures and books that tell about your family. Consider displaying pictures that you need help identifying family members. Also, make sure that there is room for others to bring their pictures and stories that they would like to share.

Video Display – This is great if you have your genealogy digitized. Run it on a loop.

Be Prepared – Download an app like Google’s PhotoScan and use your phone to record photos or memories that might be shared. There are tons of tools you can use to make sure you don’t miss out on gathering any family history. –Aimee McDaniel
