Granite Family History Center

Open For Business

Exciting news! The Granite Family History Center will reopen with regular hours beginning April 13. We are excited to see the smiling faces of our patrons and the enthusiasm of our consultants. We also look forward to feeling the wonderful spirit that attends the Family History Center. Starting April 13 our hours will be:

Sunday            1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Tuesday           10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Wednesday     10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Thursday         10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Youth Hours   Wednesday 3:00 to 5:00

Beginning May 11 we plan to expand our hours to 9:00 pm on Tuesday – Thursday. As youth demand increases we will add additional days to the after school youth hours.

Initially scanning will continue to be by appointment due to the high demand and the desire to allow more people to use the scanners. Group activities and instruction will also be by appointment to insure that we can accommodate all groups. For the latest updates and to schedule please visit granitefhc.com.

In order to protect both patrons and consultants we ask that facemasks be worn and social distancing continue to be observed at the Family History Center. Hand sanitizer is available and encouraged and sanitizing used surfaces will be done regularly. We want everyone’s experience to be productive, inspiring and safe. We ask your help in making that happen.

Our weekly Tuesday night classes will continue to be over zoom, as this has proven to be a very successful method allowing many to participate that cannot attend in person. Don’t forget to check out our spring and summer classes which are posted on granitefhc.com. We have a wide variety of classes taught by exceptionally knowledgeable and talented instructors. These classes will be recorded and available on line along with the classes from the fall and winter curriculum.

We look forward to seeing you again at the FHC and sharing with you the miracles that happen there!
